What a hope and a promise!

I'm trying to figure out that reflection. It doesn't even look like the same canoe, though the one behind does. What still, still water. Or is it? It makes me ponder many things.

Hugs to you, my friend.

Oh my! Stunning photo, Michelle. Lydia, over my shoulder here, says: "Wow! That is awesome." Agreed.

Oh, Michelle, I love this picture and the verse that you put with it !  Perfection!

That's about as clear a reflection as I've ever seen in a photo. So glad He brings us home from all our wanderings.

When I saw that, I thought of your trip.  You had so much fun.  And you happened to have a verse from one of my favorite sections of the Word... prophets.

Michelle DeRusha  – (June 23, 2012 at 9:37 PM)

Thank you, Jennifer - thank you, Lydia!

Michelle DeRusha  – (June 23, 2012 at 9:38 PM)

I love those OT prophets - I just finished the OT...read the whole thing for the first time in my life. Pretty happy about that!

Michelle DeRusha  – (June 23, 2012 at 9:38 PM)

It was an incredibly still evening. I just kept snapping and snapping!

Michelle DeRusha  – (June 23, 2012 at 9:38 PM)

Thank you, Diane. Happy weekend to you, lovely lady.

Michelle DeRusha  – (June 23, 2012 at 9:39 PM)

And thank you so much for coming by from Sandy's place. Blessings and peace to you this weekend, Elizabeth.

Michelle DeRusha  – (June 23, 2012 at 9:40 PM)

It is kind of a strange reflection - the canoe reflected in the water looks much darker than the real one...maybe because the water is such a deep blue?

{glad I finally figured out how to get you to appear in my comments! You are too good for the ol' spam can, Sandy!!}

Beautiful shot!

Sandra Heska King  – (June 23, 2012 at 10:51 PM)

Yay! (Now we'll see if this takes or if I go back to the dungeon.)

We are going to go on a canoe trip soon, I have been anxious about it, we bought a fancy life jacket for me, I hope your verse is not literal to our trip. OR I can say perhaps after our trip we will be going home?

Yes, What a bright & beautiful photo with a special spot just waiting on Zephaniah

While doing my daily mediation I think about being on a canoe, floating along on a calm river reflecting on my breathing.

I have read the prophetic portion so many times, and studied them.  AND the minor prophets are very informative.  Glad you are "there"... enjoy them overwhelmingly and they will bless you beyond belief.

Love that photo, Michelle...and certainly that reminder from God's Word.
