Michelle, I had some fun taking photos of daffodils last weekend. Can't wait to post some. And this one you got is gorgeous the way the light comes through the leaves. Perfect with the verse.
When I saw that light on the kitchen table flowers like that, I gasped out loud, too. I said to the boys, "Look! Look at that light on those petals!!" They were somewhat less impressed...but at least they looked!
Do you actually have daffodils blooming outside? We have stems up out there, but it will be several weeks before the blooms I think (although I saw crocus blooms in the garden today -- that's even enough for me right now).
We have the most stunning spring bulb arrangements that Jon's law firm sent to us -- two beautiful urns full of spring blossoms on the kitchen table. They have brought so much joy to our household this week -- watching to see which flower unfurls next.
Saw the comment below on Jeremiah ... as one who is in a Jeremiah phase (in recent years I've gone from a place of prominence in my organization and fallen from grace because I said some hard things) ... it's hard being Jeremiah! Maybe you could tap into that a bit. It's not as pretty or nice as Isaiah, true! :) Amy
Thanks for the reminder, pretty :)
I looked at this earlier, Michelle, and had to come back. It's just, well, quiet. Still.
(And gorgeous, of course.)
Love the picture, and it caused me to look up the scripture! Hey, I LIKE that kinda rhyme! Beautiful.
You're a poet, sister!
Thanks, Lyla. I saw this light on the daffodils on my kitchen table three mornings in a row before I finally managed to catch it with the camera.
Gorgeous back-lit daffodil! The petals themselves seem to have absorbed the light. Lovely photo, perfect accompanying verse. :)
Stunning. I could gaze at it and this verse for hours. So glad you've linked up!
Loverly... sweet and simple... and true.
There's a glow that radiates from this beautiful flower. Peaceful.
So, so lovely, Michelle. Thank you for this.
This makes me sigh with satisfaction. Peace.
No words are fitting for this photo and scripture, Michelle. This is amazing.
Great Photo! Blessings to you on this Sunday!
All of that beauty just sitting there on your kitchen table? So glad you captured and shared it with us!
so beautiful Michelle... thank you for sharing this.
LOVE the daffodil against the black with the sun coming from behind. Perfect.
The light falling like dew. Life-giving. Just beautiful.
amazing...a blessed Sunday to you :)
This made me gasp out loud, Michelle. PERFECT picture and perfect accompanying verse. Thank you.

Beautiful photo, Michelle. I just love the book of Isaiah. It is filled with such rich wisdom. My heart has been drawn there for many weeks.
Mine, too, Joan. And then I finished it and moved on to Jeremiah, which I have to admit, isn't doing nearly as much for me!

A blessed Sunday to you, too, Dolly.

I love your Still Saturday community, Sandy!
